Michael Inskip; Marketing, Sales and Management Advisor
Michael Inskip’s expertise is in leading global sales, all aspects of marketing, business development and business operations for both public and private companies. Three of his previous early stage companies that he worked for have become successful technology companies, including two Ottawa based companies; Iridian Spectral Technologies which was acquired by JDS Uniphase and Enablence Technologies which is now listed on the TSX-V. Michael Inskip was most recently the CEO of WorkHorse Capital and Strategic Acquisitions Corp. which traded on the TSX-V under the symbol WHC. In November 2010 WorkHorse Capital merged with Personal Web Systems of Palo Alto, California. Michael also owns a marketing and public relations firm.
Michael has a Bachelor of Arts, Law degree from Carleton University, an International Business Diploma from Algonquin College and an International Trade Diploma from the Forum for International Trade Training Program (FITT). He has completed the Executive Management and Leadership Training Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, and the Executive Program in Venture Capital and Private Equity at UC, Berkeley.
Early in his career Michael had the opportunity to live and work in Beijing, China and Silicon Valley, USA
